I love this controller. A LOT. It's perfect for playing Super Mario World and any other SNES games. The Classic Controller is basically an SNES remote with a few added buttons(Wii home button,joysticks etc). I was dissapointed in the fact that playing Super Mario World was unplayable with a Gamecube controller.So I bought this remote. and it turned out to be a great purchase. If you have a Gamecube controller and are planning to play any games other than SNES then you don't need the Classic Contrller. But if you're looking to download some SNES games. You need this. NEED. ......
I want to start off by saying this classic controller is essential for playing downloadable Super NES games. The Nintendo Game Cube's wireless Wavebird controller is more fun and useful for the downloadable Nintendo 64 games because it's bigger and is also good fun to play all of your favorite N64 games wireless.However the Game Cube controllers border on unplayable for Super NES games like F Zero and Super Mario World.Way too awkward to have any fun or make progress. The Wii Classic controller however is perfect for 16 bit games like that. It's a little bigger than a standard Super NES controller and is also more comfortable in your hands. NES,Sega Genesis and Turbo Grafx 16 also work very well with this controller.So in conclusion a Wii Classic contoller is essential for playing 8 bit and 16 bit games but if you want to play Nintendo 64 and Game Cube games so is the Wavebird or standard Game Cube controller.......
I have played FIFA, PES/WE for so many years. It is way better to use the wii remote and nunchuck. More like a habit thing to me.......
Excellent to play all the past console games... feels like supernintendo once again... IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY TO PLAY MORTAL KOMBAT OR KILLER INSTINCT?????......
it works good for all nes snes games but for n64 games the gamecube controller is better ......
